How to Follow the Plot
Aggregators:
RSS--Really Simple Syndication -- or Feeds
New web content comes to you -- rather than you having to go get it...
The basic premise of RSS is built on a subscription model, rather than surfing for content or searching through an engine like Google. You decide what you want to be automatically watched for new content (whether a blog, a wiki, a newspaper website, Amazon, whatever) and when it happens, you get sent that information -- to your e-mail address or to a site like Bloglines
It's about allowing a machine or program to aggregate content for you.
-- Here's a good intro article: \"RSS for Non-Techie Librarians\"
-- Content feeds with RSS 2.0-- 23 Dec 2005 article by James Lewin
-- Rojo
Rojo means "RSS with mojo" and in this spirit our company is dedicated to providing the best feed reader around so that busy people can discover and read content as efficiently as possible.
